Aftermath

December 28, 2006

Well, it’s the week after Christmas. My girth has increased, but also my joy. God is truly good.

I hope to start exploring some theological topics on here soon. Hopefully I can learn a thing or two.

To begin again

December 14, 2006

I’ve deleted all my old posts on here (not that there were many), so that I might have a new start. This will be another attempt at a blog that may fall into neglect, but I truly don’t mind. I’m so over worrying about readership or such nonsense. The fact is that many blogs probably never get read. I expect this one to be one such blog.

Let me introduce myself. I am thirty. I am married. I have two wonderful children. My life up this point has been blessed, although it has had its very rough patches. For the past fifteen years or so I have been on somewhat of a spiritual journey. This blog is just another vehicle to employ in that journey. I’ve tried to keep a paper journal, but I’ve failed miserably. Maybe this will go better.

I am in RCIA at the local catholic parish. I got to where I am by a winding path, and I’ll write more later about this path I’m sure.

Here’s to a new beginning.
