<description>My sister died because of illegal alien drug dealers. As a Catholic, I am right on board with Michelle Malkin - the Catholic Church should stick to religion not
a poster child for illegal aliens. Malkin for President.</description>

<description>I too feel called to a life of solitude, much as Therese Marie does... I&#039;m very quiet, and when I have too much sound around me (even my blessed brothers and sisters in Christ talking) my head starts to swim and I often cannot focus on Christ. Threse Marie, don&#039;t feel sad about talking alot, because we are all needed in God&#039;s Kingdom, whether we talk much or talk little. Knowledge can only be conveyed in this world, first through words and then through writing and then there is presence, which is a different kind of communication of knowledge, still. Innocence is better than knowledge, but knowledge is necessary in this world to keep oneself safe from evil, through wisdom.. and to protect those who are innocent.

With love in Christ,

<description>Hi Rusty, I just read your conversion story to Catholicism. You brought tears to my eyes! I was born and raised UPC. I not only remember no TV but also no Christmas tree and no Halloween. Life is pretty lonely growing up without customs and traditions that those around you celebrate.

At the age of 28 I converted to Catholicism. I have never looked back. The beauty in the sacraments is awesome. I have never seen the Love of Jesus like I do in the Mass. I have never felt closer to God than I do when I pray the rosary.

Its such a shame that Catholicism is so misunderstood. Here we live the live Jesus lived. We live the Way. Its not all about preaching and teaching its about giving people a real example. I`ll never forget my first Holy Week. I *saw* the scriptures come to life...right in front of me.

Imagine the shock.

Thanks, for bringing your story to the web :))

Also, if you are interested check this out, its a yahoo group for ex pentecostals :)

<description>I am a frequent poster on Orthodoxchristianity.net, and I&#039;ve gotten to know Anastasios a little (Hey, Father A! :D). I&#039;ve come to know him as a very intelligent, sweet, and patient teacher of the Orthodox faith. I&#039;m sorry you feel the way you do about him, Diane. Maybe you could give him and the Board a second chance? :)

Sincerely,
Myrrh23--
